The Center for Academic Success offers a wide variety of Academic Services to help you make the most of your university education. These services cover everything from important foundational skills like time management, reading, and note-taking skills to help in complex subject areas. CAS staff members are available to meet with you to discuss the services available in a one-on-one setting where they will help you connect with the resources that fit your needs and develop a strategy for your academic success. CAS Workshop Series

The Center for Academic Success offers a series of workshops throughout each semester.  Workshops cover important topics reading comprehension, note-taking, successful paper writing, test-taking, learning styles, and stress management. For more information, click HERE.

SMARTHINKING

SMARTHINNKING is an online 1-on-1 tutoring service that is FREE to all CUA students.  It covers a variety of subject areas like Chemistry, Biology, Anatomy, Physics, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, and Spanish. For more information, click HERE.

Tutoring Services

Extra help is easy to access here at CUA, and The Center for Academic Success offers tutoring in two different formats: individualized tutoring is available by referral, and tutor-facilitated group study is available on a drop in basis. To find out more, click HERE.
